Diana works 2 afternoons a week at a small bookshop near her school. She earns 11 lei an hour and saves most of the money for a new laptop. Her manager, Radu, lets her choose her shifts, as long as she finishes her homework first. Diana says the job has taught her more about talking to strangers than any class ever did.Câți lei pe oră câștigă Diana la librărie?
- Nine lei an hour.
- Ten lei an hour.
- Twelve lei an hour.
- Eleven lei an hour.
More young people in Bucharest are choosing to cycle to school instead of taking the bus. Cristina used to spend 40 minutes stuck in traffic every morning, but now she reaches school in under 20 minutes on her bike. She says the change was not really about saving time at first — she just wanted an excuse to spend less money on public transport. Now she cannot imagine going back to the crowded bus.
- Her main reason at first was cutting her travel costs.
- Her main reason at first was shortening her daily journey.
- Her main reason at first was getting more exercise.
- Her main reason at first was escaping the crowded buses.
Andrei's blog about retro video games now has almost 3000 subscribers, but he still refuses to add advertising to his posts. Several companies have offered to pay him for reviews, and one offered more money than he earns in a year from his part-time job. Andrei turned every offer down, saying that the moment he starts writing for sponsors instead of for readers, the blog stops being his.
- He is tempted but has not decided yet.
- He is firmly against accepting any of them.
- He regrets not accepting the offers sooner.
- He would accept one if the payment were high enough.
The bookshop on Strada Mare closes at 6 p.m. every weekday, but Mrs Dinu, who owns it, is still there most evenings until 9 p.m. She says she is only tidying the shelves, though the lights in the back room, where the reading club meets, are always on as well. On Thursdays, the last people to leave are teenagers carrying library cards from 3 different schools.
- The shop stays open to ordinary customers until nine.
- Mrs Dinu is alone in the shop after it closes.
- Students from several schools use the shop after closing time.
- The reading club meets before the shop closes for the day.
A group of students at a high school in Cluj started collecting used batteries from their neighbours instead of throwing them away with normal rubbish. In the first 3 months, they gathered over 200 kilograms of batteries, far more than they expected. What began as a small class project for a chemistry lesson slowly turned into a permanent collection point that other schools in the city are now copying.Care rezumat este corect?
- A school in Cluj asked its students to produce less rubbish at home.
- A chemistry teacher in Cluj collected used batteries from several other schools.
- The students gathered far fewer batteries than they had expected to find.
- A small class project turned into a permanent collection point other schools copy.
